arriving in tokyo next week, staying in shinjuku for 5 nights where do i actually go for nightlife? not looking for tourist stuff, want real bars and maybe a club. budget is like ¥10-15k per night any help appreciated, can't find good recent info anywhere
golden gai for bars, warp or womb for clubs. start with golden gai first night to get the vibe, then clubs after
kabukicho area has everything but avoid anyone who approaches you on the street. walk in yourself and you're fine
also don't sleep on omoide yokocho (memory lane) near the station. tiny yakitori stalls, super atmospheric, great starting point before bars
¥10-15k is a solid budget for shinjuku. you won't be hurting. just don't blow it all at one place lol
