did i get scammed or is this just how it works in japan

ok so went to a girl bar in kabukicho, sat down, had like 3 drinks and talked to two girls for maybe an hour. bill came out to ¥35,000 for one person 😭 i paid because i didn't want drama but afterwards i couldn't tell if that's just normal pricing or if i got played. genuinely can't find a straight answer online. what would you have done
