what would you do differently on your first japan night out knowing what you know now

mine: pull more cash early, pick one area and stay in it, don't follow anyone who approaches me on the street, eat before drinking 🫠 sounds obvious now. at the time i did none of these. what's the one thing past-you needed to hear before night one in japan
