am i the only one who thinks tokyo club music is kind of mid compared to the hype

maybe i just went to the wrong places but the DJ sets i caught at the bigger spots were honestly not that impressive?? the production and the venue looked incredible but the actual music felt safe. heard osaka has a better underground scene for actual electronic music. tokyo nightlife looks better than it sounds or am i just wrong about this 🤔 genuinely asking because i want to be wrong
