¥31,000 lesson on why i don't let strangers pick the bar anymore

met a guy at the hostel who said he knew a "real local spot" in kabukicho. followed him, felt cool about it at the time. ¥31,000 later for drinks that were probably worth a third of that 😭😭 he disappeared before the bill came too which in hindsight should've been the first red flag. still annoyed but also kind of laughing about how confidently i walked into that one
