osaka nightlife - namba or umeda?
doing 3 nights in osaka next month heard namba is more touristy but umeda is better for locals? or is that outdated info where would you actually go for bars and decent clubs

namba for the atmosphere and street food, umeda for better bars imo. honestly do both, they're 10 mins apart
shinsaibashi is the sweet spot between both. that whole area on a friday night is great
also worth knowing - they're only like 10 mins apart by subway so you can do both in one night if you want to compare
namba for the chaos, umeda for actually finding a good bar. that's my summary lol
shinsaibashi is literally between both and has a good mix. might be worth starting there and seeing which direction feels right
